Will The New USA Coach Make a Difference
Bob Bradley was finally sacked as coach of the USA soccer team. It was a decision that had been coming for a long time, because he was struggling to motivate his team and they were not making the progress people wanted. After a good World Cup they seemed to stagnate and fall back and they were poor in the Gold Cup. Mexico were 2-0 down but beat them 4-2 and Bob Bradley had no answers. That made people question whether he was the right man for the job.
He has been replaced by Jurgen Klinnsman and the question everyone asks is, what will he do? He was good with Germany but awful with Bayern Munich. He has lived in LA all his life but what does he know about US Soccer? The fact is, we need to give him a chance. He was a great player and could be a great coach as well. He has an attacking mentality and that will be appreciated by the fans as they look to their team to score goals and to be fun to watch. However, he will need to learn his players inside out and understand the staff he is dealing with. His first game was a 1-0 loss to Costa Rica, so he will need to get the team improving fast.
