Who Will Win The 2012 World Cup
When you talk about the 2014 World Cup, everyone is talking about Brazil and South American teams because that is where the world cup is being held. The final is in Rio and everyone thinks that Brazil is going to come up with the team to shock everyone and win the competition. However, it is not going to be easy for them. Ever since the great team of Ronaldo, Romario, Rivaldo, Roberto Carlos, Cafu and Ronaldinho, Brazil have been struggling a bit. Their younger players have taken time to come through and 2014 might be too soon for them.
Three teams that could shock Brazil and win in 2014 are Uruguay, Spain and the Netherlands. Spain won last time and are the favorites in many people’s eyes. The question is how long can they keep sustaining their success before their levels drop. The likes of Xavi and Puyol will be 34 and 35 in 2014, will they be too old to still pull the strings for Spain? Uruguay were 3rd last time and won the Copa America, so they are on a high and the likes of Suarez and Forlan will be looking for more international glory. But do not count out last time’s finalists Netherlands who will be spearheaded by the likes of Van Persie, Kuyt and Wesley Sneijder as they look to finally win a World Cup.
