I hope everyone remembered to turn back their clocks last night, if not, you just got an extra hour in your day :-))
I am excited to let everyone know that our Competitive side yesterday secured our first Presidio League Championship of the season (with 3 weeks still left to go)!!!
CONGRATULATIONS GU10BLACK BREAKERS GIRLS -2009 PRESIDIO CHAMPIONS
Our congratulations go out to the players, parents and Coaches for a wonderful season and a deserved Championship.
This team, coached by Gino Rossi (Head Coach) and Lance Gill (Asst. Coach) have so far gone undefeated this season, winning 11 0f 11 games, scoring 54 goals with only 4 against. They have 3 games left to complete a perfect season. The players, parents and coaches have dedicated themselves (and their time) to achieve this result. They have played in numerous tournaments and continue to practice almost year round.
This dominating season did not happen by chance. It happened due to the extraordinary talent on the team, supplemented by commitment and a great desire to work at their game, inspired by Coach Gino and Lance. Please congratulate the players and coaches if you see them at Mance this week.
Please note that this team plays at Mance next Saturday, November 7th, at 8.00am on Field # 3. Let's all try and fill the sideline and give these girls the credit they deserve as we celebrate their championship!!!
