Breakers BU11Blue Team capture our 4th Championship of the season!!!

 Congratulations to our Breakers BU11Blue team who this past weekend secured first place in their Presidio bracket, and the Club's 4th League Title of the season.
As many of you are aware, this is the team that Armando Maini coached for the first half of the season, before he tragically passed away.
Following Armando's passing, the team has been co-coached by Frank Zimmerman and Miguel Barragan. Despite taking over the team in difficult circumstances, they were able to connect with this wonderful group of players and parents, and let the boys carry them to the Championship.
The coaches and the boys had dedicated the remainder of the season to Coach Armando and were committed to winning the Championship for him. I know that Coach Armando is looking down on these boys today with a huge smile on his face. This one was for you Coach Armando!!!
The boys are undefeated this season (with 1 game to go) and have a perfect record of 10 games played, 10 wins, scoring 40 goals, with only 2 scored against.
The nucleus of this team is from the All Star Recreational Team that Armando took to the Mesa Championships last year. It truly shows how strong our Club is on both our Competitive and Recreational side.
We should all be very proud of what this team has achieved this year.
