Breakers Competitive GU11 Team capture our 5th Championship of the season!!
Tue, 11/17/2009 - Oceanside, CA.
Sorry to fill up your mail boxes today, but the announcements keep coming, and there are more to follow!!!

Congratulations go out to our Breakers GU11 team who this past weekend secured first place in their Presidio bracket, and the Club's 5th, yes 5th League Title of the season!!!!

This fantastic team, led by Magui Betancourt (Head Coach) and the always modest,Martin Saladana (Asst. Coach), have an undefeated season (with one game to go) playing record of 12 wins, 1 ties, and zero losses, scoring 42 goals, with only 2 scored against them. They should also be very proud of their disciplinary record, accumulating a solitary Yellow Card all season. They still have one game to play but hold the tie-breaker over the teams below them and cannot be caught as Champions.

It is a very close group of girls and parents, and these parents win the unofficial "Supporter of the Year" Award. This group was clearly the loudest group of parents in our Club this year, but there comments were always positive and encouraging.THANK YOU PARENTS !!!!

I am also delighted to point out that about one third of this team was new to competitive soccer this year, yet again showing the strength of our recreational program.

This team plays their final game of the season this Saturday at Mance at 4.30pm on Field #2. If you get a chance, please attend their game, and celebrate with them a most deserving Championship.

WAY TO GO BREAKERS!!!!
